Tanzania telecommunications get new boss

President John Pombe Magufuli has appointed Waziri Waziri Kindamba as the chief executive officer of Tanzania Telecommunication Company (TTCL), the public owned landline telecom company in Tanzania.
This comes few months after the government of Tanzania regained full ownership after acquiring 35 per cent stake of the company which were previously owned by Bhati Airtel of India.
The statement issued by the director of presidential communication unit Gerson Msigwa today says that Kindamba will replace Dr Kamugisha Kazaura, who will be assigned with another duty.
The Kindamba appointment starts immediately.
